                                                KIEN’S CORNER

Hi everyone; here I am again! I know you don't want to know everything from me.

It is going to be hard on me, but sometimes it is fun to know about someone’s life.  I am doing fine. I am still busy doing what I have to do. The Annual Conference  was great for me. I am  able to follow much easier than the last three years.  My name appeared on the pastor role the first time in the 11 years I have served the Lord. I am so happy for myself.

Rancho Park was so good too. 40 people from our congregation including non- church members also joined us. Sophal Suon and her husband and his friends were also there. Oeurt Chhim and his whole family came. We sang songs, and praised  God. We played volley ball for a couple hours and we came back home at 5:00. Most of them were happy and I was happy and had a good time also.

We celebrated Father’s Day with a potluck and  quail eggs for Papa’s gift from Sylvia Phon and Poeu Moung, Martha Moung’s parents. Both of them are very nice to our church members. They serve and host this birthday celebration every month. They are such a blessing to our congregation. I could not remember what happened in that day, but what I can remember is: It was fun! Fun! Fun!

Saturday Bible Study was on vacation, but we are having choir rehearsal for Sunday at Saroeun’s house every  Saturday at  6:00 p.m.   Thank God for their hospitality  and opening the door for us and be willing to serve us dinner each time we meet.

We still have the Khmer language in Room 14 and we had 10 students attending

including Katie Schubert. And I also want to invite all of your children to come too  if they want to learn. It is easy like ABCD.

I also want to introduce to you our Cambodian Language teacher. He only

converted to our Christianity a couple years ago. Now he teaches the Cambodian class for our kids. He is now 70 years old. He is an active member no longer serving as a monk in the Cambodian way. He loves the Lord, and  has had an appointment on the 17 of July for surgery.  Please payer for him and his family. Krub Yi had his

cataract removed on the first of July. He is seventy three years old living alone at Park Village apartment. Please continue to pray for him also. While you are doing that please don't forget to pray for me also, for my spiritual and physical as well. Thank you.

See you all again next month. I wish you all well in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Amen.
