Ministry Team Chairs to Meet on August 12th

The Chairs of the Ministry Teams and Committee Chairs will meet on Tuesday, August 12 from 4-6 p.m. to look at future events in the life of Central Church.  This is a very important meeting because we want to co-ordinate the calendar so that all the ministries of the church will have the full support of the congregation.

 

Committee Chairs and others have been asked to mark their calendars so they can participate in this August 12 meeting.  For further information or to have questions answered please contact Pastor Dave.

 

Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations Congregational Meeting Set for

August 17th

The Wednesday evening gatherings to focus on the Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations were a great success.  We averaged nearly 40 persons per meeting and discovered many new insights as to how Central Church can be a more fruitful congregation.

A congregation-wide meeting is set for Sunday, August 17 following the 11:00 a.m. worship service to follow up with some of the ideas shared during our earlier meetings.  We will begin with a simple meal and then spend a couple of hours sharing ideas about ways we can become a more fruitful congregation.  We will use the insights lifted up at our Wednesday meetings to guide our discussion. We may also lift up possible recommendations to the Church Council.    WHETHER YOU PARTICPATED IN THE EARLIER MEETINGS OR NOT, ALL INTERESTED PERSONS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND!
