Room to Wonder

 

Sunday, October 19, is our congregation’s Consecration Sunday. We will have three important events on that day: Sunday morning worship, a brunch following the 8:30 service and the Celebration Luncheon following the 11:00 service.

This is one of the most important stewardship campaigns Central has ever had—it is an opportunity for spiritual growth in our relationship with God. In the weeks leading up to Consecration Sunday, we will explore the theme of “Room to Wonder.”

We will rejoice in the wonder of God’s glories but also celebrate the wonderful ministries that give us opportunities to serve each other and the community at large. We will rejoice in the fact that Central encourages wondering—in Godly Play, in youth groups, in adult education. We are a questioning, searching congregation and stewardship is a vital part of that journey of ‘wonder.’
